Even nature has a soft spot for face paint. Zoomed in tight, the pattern on this moth's furry head reads as a full clown face — arched red brows, two black button eyes, flushed orange cheeks, and a round red nose set dead center. Pull back and the joke lands: it's simply the thorax of a moth, wings spread wide in banded black, white, and mustard yellow, antennae raised like it's taking a bow.
