Some climbs end better than others. This giant panda cub decided a skinny sapling was worth the effort, hauled itself halfway up, and then reconsidered everything at once. What follows is a slow-motion surrender — paws still gripping bark, body sliding sideways, until gravity and a mouthful of grass settle the argument. The final close-up, one eye squinting up at the camera, needs no caption.
