Hide and Leaf

This frog didn't hide. It simply became the forest floor. Across six frames, a horned leaf-litter frog does what it does best: absolutely nothing, and does it perfectly. Nestled in scattered dead leaves, its pointed brow horns and papery, vein-etched skin turn camouflage into an art form, right down to a curled leaf mimicking its own horn. Only one dark, glassy eye gives the whole performance away.
