The Mane Event

Their idea of sweet nothings sounds like a small war. A lion and lioness lock into the brief, fierce ritual of big-cat courtship on the sunburnt Serengeti grass — teeth bared, jaws wide, roars traded back and forth like insults rather than affection. Across the sequence, a neck bite, matching snarls, and one long-suffering tongue-out sigh turn a tender moment into something that looks, from the outside, a lot more like a brawl than a bond.
