Nerves of Steel

Somewhere out there, a mother is developing nerves of steel. A plump, composed White's tree frog holds her spot on a mossy branch while a much smaller frog beside her lets out a full, wide-mouthed scream. Across the sequence the little one thrashes near the edge of the branch and wails at top volume, yet the adult never breaks her deadpan stare — until the noise finally stops and she's left alone, exactly as unbothered as she started.
