The Home Guard
Digital $9.00 · Prints from $49.00

The neighborhood watch has never looked so serious. A meerkat family stands at attention, sticks gripped like spears, sentries posted on every side of the mound. Then the camera turns: four lions are creeping low through the grass, dead ahead. It's a wonderfully mismatched standoff — brave, hopeless, and utterly sincere — small guards holding the line against something built to end them in a single bound.
