Some bridges deserve a second look before you cross them. Two grey squirrels pick their way hand in hand across a row of pale, spiked ridges rising from a mossy pond — the arched back of a very still, very large crocodile they've mistaken for scenery. It's a tender romance staged squarely on reptilian danger, turning an ordinary woodland walk into a surreal, faintly nerve-wracking crossing neither squirrel seems to notice.
