Pretty in Ink

This is either the cutest thing in the ocean, or the most dramatic. Perched on bone-white soft coral, a bubblegum-pink Dumbo octopus flares its ear-like fins and stares down the lens with saucer eyes — then, without warning, blooms a cloud of black ink across the reef. The contrast is the whole joke: something this small, this pink, this obviously adorable, still comes fully armed.
