Look closer — this horse's eye is grinning back with teeth of its own. Shot in extreme macro, a horse's amber-lashed eye becomes something stranger: the folds of iris and pupil twist into the unmistakable shape of a closed mouth, ridged with teeth and rimmed in glassy blue. Two intimate angles study the same trick of light and anatomy, daring you to believe you're staring into a smile instead of an eye.
