Not one animal, but nineteen — each a scrap of living silk pinned to black velvet. Every specimen here is a marine flatworm, an inch or two of muscle that somehow out-dresses the rest of the reef. Cobalt blues, tiger stripes, molten oranges, and violet ribbons ruffle and fold like couture fabric caught mid-swirl, photographed close enough to see the velvet nap of each mantle.
