Eighteen ways to be stared down by nature's most focused hunters. This collection gathers falcons in tight studio close-up — a steel-eyed peregrine, a barred juvenile, ghost-pale and near-black gyrfalcons, a masked lanner, and a fierce little American kestrel — each locked in an unblinking glare. The set then breaks into motion: wings thrown wide, talons reaching for the lens, one bird mid-stoop, and two color morphs meeting eye to eye midair.
