Somewhere a pigeon is doing the math, and it just isn't adding up. A fennec fox naps in the desert sun with three speckled eggs tucked snugly beneath its paw, the picture of innocence despite the loot. Back in an autumn tree, a pigeon stands guard over its own empty nest, fixing the camera with a wide, unblinking, thoroughly accusing stare. Nest Egg Heist sets the sleeping culprit against the empty crime scene for a quietly absurd little whodunit.
