Nose Job

This gecko didn't come for the view. A vividly patterned day gecko — green scales dusted with orange, its toe pads flashing pale blue — has scaled a sleeping man's stubbled cheek and gone straight for the nostril, tongue extended to lap up a bead of moisture at the rim. It's a shameless close-up of opportunistic snacking, equal parts gross and oddly tender.
