Not a single hair to hide behind. This set follows one naked mole-rat through eight extreme close-ups, curled into a tight, wrinkled ball under studio light. Every fold of leathery pink-grey skin, tiny claw, whisker and translucent ear gets its turn — from the smooth dome of its bald head to the tucked tail at the far end. Odd, tender, and unmistakably alive.
