Every piece in this box rolls itself shut. Six pill millipedes curl into tight, glossy spirals, each one glazed in a completely different color story — emerald, aubergine, peridot gold, carnelian orange, garnet red, and citrus tourmaline stripes. Photographed head-on against black, the plated segments fan out like a jeweler's display, with only a sliver of tucked legs giving away that these are living armor, not stones.
