This frog did not sign up for a photo shoot. Meet the desert rain frog, a species famous for looking permanently disgruntled no matter the angle. Shot eye to eye, from behind, from above and in full profile, its round, potato-shaped body and stub of legs never once suggest enthusiasm — just a small, damp creature enduring the indignity of being photographed at all.
