Dust River

From the ground it's hooves and horns. From above, it's a river with nowhere to be but downstream. A column of blue wildebeest thunders across the Serengeti at first light, hundreds strong, hooves throwing dust that the low sun turns to gold. Close in, legs churn and horns cross in the haze; pull back and the whole herd bends into a long winding line across the grassland, dust trailing behind it like current — the Great Migration, caught mid-stride.
