Some rivalries never end in a winner. Two peregrine falcons face off on a weathered branch above a mountain gorge, trading fisted talons and open claws like seasoned rock-paper-scissors players. Round after round they throw the same moves, matching each other beat for beat, neither bird willing to concede the tie. A small, feathered standoff with very high stakes.
