It started with a spider dropping in — literally — and ended in a blanket no one asked for. A dusty blue-gray jumping spider is minding her own business on a weathered log when a fiery orange spider rappels down on a silk dragline and lands right beside her. What follows is a cautious greeting — legs raised, eyes locked — that edges into an actual duet, until silk keeps gathering around them and the two end up completely wrapped together in one shared, accidental cocoon.
