The Eel of Surprise
Digital $9.00 · Prints from $49.00

One of these eels did not get the memo about staying incognito. A colony of garden eels sways from the white sand like blades of underwater grass, feeding with their backs never leaving their burrows — except for one. A single spotted eel breaks the pattern entirely, turning to stare straight into the lens with wide eyes and an open mouth, caught mid-surprise while its neighbors carry on, blissfully unaware.
