Get close enough to any snout and the whole animal disappears into shape, texture, and color. This macro set zooms in until fur, whiskers, and nostrils are the whole story: a star-nosed mole's pink tentacles, a camel's slit nostrils, a lion's soft muzzle, a sloth's shaggy grin, a sea otter's heart-shaped nose, and a proboscis monkey's famous nose all take their turn as an abstract, symmetrical portrait. Fourteen animals, one shared feature, endlessly different results.
