Wrinkles, it turns out, don't discriminate by species. Six extreme close-ups share nothing but texture: a pig's snout buried in folds, a Neapolitan Mastiff's heavy jowls, a hairless Sphynx cat's brain-like furrows, a hairless guinea pig's cascading creases, a Bloodhound's drooping face, and a Shar Pei's signature ripples. Nothing here is related by taxonomy — only by the way skin gathers, folds and drapes, turning six very different animals into one strange family of wrinkles.
